ANNOUNCING CAFÉ HONUAOLA:
Coming to a town near You this Fall
Honua Ola, means “Celebrating Earth, Life and All things Sacred”—Earth is Honua, Ola is Life and the two combined create Sacred Celebration.
Lesley Michael’s and McCarty Baker, two of HonuaOla’s core quadrapod will be bringing this opportunity for exciting directed conversation, CAFÉ HONUAOLA, to a growing number of cities on the mainland and several international venues over the next 6 months.
These conversations will take place at a variety of venues, and are designed to include up to 30 participants. Depending on the size of the group, open or facilitated discussions will take place on concerns and the design of solutions for issues within that particular community’s surrounding sphere or outreach.
What will we talk about? We will talk about what is happening on the planet at large.
More importantly, we will talk about what is happening in your own backyards.
Our intent is to bring together a body of people with unified desire to distill information in a way that speaks most poignantly to what focus and passion can be brought forward and activated into workable solutions. This will include the areas where you live, play and—what used to be called—work—and is now Passion. “What do you do for Passion?” Where and with whom do You Passion?” “Would you like to Passion together on this?”
Subjects that will likely come to the table are:
- What changes would like to be implemented in your community?
- How can those be politically leveraged?
- Do they need Political leverage or can they simply be implemented as MANY progressive communities are finding this to be the fastest course to success.
- What things would we do well to be aware of on a global stage at present?
- What specific environmental atrocities in your area MUST be stopped?
- And what resources could be brought to bear to that end?
- What can I—just one busy person—do to participate in a significant way?
- And Most Importantly; In what ways can we cultivate connection with our neighbors, create a greater knowing of community, offer support for and with each other in these exciting and changing times.
How can we activate the living reality that:
- Community is the Birthplace of Alchemy and Change.
Community is where the Alchemic Gold will be found at this time when we, as individuals, “Stand Up—Together.”
This is the moment and we are the Ones we have been waiting for.
